Christmas @ Mid Valley 2010

I adore all of these cute huge bears, puppet, nutcrackers at the Mid Valley 2010 Christmas Decoration.

I think it's a dream of every child to have such wonderful toys. I even see some kids hug and lay down on those toys until their mum have to pull them off ...
Not forgetting to place myself among these cute toys.
And hugging a huge bear at the mall for photographs. How I wish I can take him home with me ... to me new home :)

Christmas swap (Received)

This was the gifts that I receive from my partners from the Agnes Christmas swap. Here is what I send to my partners.

This was what I received from Angelina(caca). A bit disappointment where I received a huge decorative sock without any handmade gifts inside :(
Here was what is in the sock, 3 pom poms, a small card and some candies.
Is the cherry pom pom the handmade gift ?? I assume it is part of the decoration of the sock.
The second swap was more exciting, I got this nicely wrapped Christmas gift from Jeslyn.
Gosh~~ see how much handmade gifts that I got. Eight ~!
I love her pom pom santa, angel and angel accessories the most. They look simply too cute... Thanks Jeslyn for these lovely gifts.

Christmas card #1 2009

Sorry for the lack of updates... my camera isn't working quite well recently.
Christmas mood start wondering in town. I see shops are start decorating with christmas ornements and decorations. I started creating these christmas card earlier. Need to post them to overseas for friend and family or anyone want to adopt them can email me at ciyouong@yahoo.com.

This year, I didn't really buy much materials to do my christmas cards. I would like to see how is my creativity this year with limited materials to create cards that I like. Most of the materials are those exsisting ones that I have plus some newly brought ones.

I love the pink button snowflakes. They match pretty well on the cards. Christmas is all in themes of red and green. I try my very best to make sure it looks match and nice.
A greeny version of chirstmas card. I think I need to stock up for christmas wording or start carving some more wordings for my christmas card collection.

Christmas comes well with blue, white and silver color theme. These are from my last year carve stamps + gems + snowflakes...

Which one do you like more??

Christmas @ Bugis, Singapore 2008

Bugis was one of my favorite spot in shopping last time. Now it is my sister favorite shopping place but not mine now. I didn't hunt for any clothers or shoes this time. But rather more on crafts materials and cute stuffs. Bugis Junction
Christmas Cane in Bugis Junction.
Christmas Tree inside Bugis Junction near the foundtain where kids likes to play around at there.

Meeting Yee Hui at Bugis Junction before my sister came and join us later. Yee Hui looks different compare with her look at Penang. She never wears short pants and sleeveless dress in public before. Something I notice that are people in Singapore like to wear less. They like to wear short pant, short skirt and sleevelss dress. Maybe it is too dangerous to wear like this and wondering around at KL city.
Deer merry go round decoration. Looks so cute.
Bugis Street. See the crowd crossing the road. Singapore is still full of peoples coming out shopping at Sunday.

This is quite interesting and funny design of a new shopping mall near Bugis Street.
From far looks like eskimo hub.

Here is detail look of the design.

Singapore actually import alot of Japanese and Korean style dress. I love those dresses alot. Here is one shop that sell alot of laces scarfs and Japanese styles dresses. There is also another shop selling pure Japanese style dresses in a very high price, almost every dress or T-shirt is SGD $100 and above...
We shop until night. Here is the Christmas Tree at night.

Christmas @ Orchard, Singapore 2008

I am back from my Singapore Trip. At my last few days, I actually miss home and wanted to come home. Christmas Decorations was good. But not as grand as the last visit I went. My sister and her friends told me that the decoration was just so so due to the economy crisis on the whole world.

Here are some pictures I took at Orhard Road. This year theme I guess its cute Christmas. This is the banner above the main Orhard Road. There are alot of small Christmas Tree and Christmas Decoration along the road at Orchard.
Me and my sister on a yummy candy land of christmas decorations. This was a picture that a foreigner help us to take after my sister help them to take their pictures.
More kawaii christmas tree along the road.

Decoration infront of the Paragon. The black statue at the road side is always there. The lady dancer seems like following the black statue at the back and they looks like want to dance. Looks quite interesting.

Clay madness - macarons necklance, biscuit, cakes earings

Food Clay again this time. I did quite alot on clay. I made them mostly into necklance, earrings and handphone charms.

This time, larger macarons compare to the last ones - mini macarons. I have added geams on top of each macarons and at the middle it is fill with whipped creams. I assemble them some in gold and some in sliver. Which color do you prefer?

Among all of my handmade this time, the most satisfying art work is this - pink heart shape necklance. It is whipped with cream. Added flowers, strawberry and ice-cream in pink and light red which the colors match perfectly well on each other. At the right is a necklance with chocolate base and whipped cream. Added also biscuts, macarons, strawberry and flower just to decorate.

More detail shots on the whipped cream maracons and the rest of the necklance.

This are in smaller size, so I decided to made them as handphone accessories and key chain. On the left two is cookies in whipped cream. Follow by gingerbread man and blue ice-cream. Added a charm in each clay.
More earringss. This time I tried some slice cakes and it looks great too. This is strawberry favour with a choco chip on top of each slice of cake.

Newly made full size chirstmas cake. My friend say she like a full size cake without slicing part of the cake. What do u think?

They are all available for sale and made for the Art for grabs event. Anyone like them?
