Next Bride?
Several more pages that I have after my wedding. At first it was just the top header with the title, square images on the middle and "Next Bride" alpha text below. Later I found out a tutorial from 2peas and they teach about added more layering and elements on and existing layout. Here is how the out come.
I kinda like the layout of the design after added some laying and die cuts of love behind the main picture layout. The only thing I missing now is the journaling of the events - should be below of the page title.
Material used: Paper and die cuts - My Minds Eye - Love Me Do. Button and trims. Alpha stickers: Basic Grey. Brad - Daiso.
Here is the 2nd layout I done after the 1st one. Just a beginner way to scrap I guess.

1st time Scrap Booking
Gosh~! It's almost a year I didn't blog. Didn't have much luxury time as before.
Although I didn't blog, but I still have time to do some crafts. I sometimes still make accessories and place them on local shop to sell.
Here is my new hobby. Not to consider new. I like scrap booking long time ago. But due to scrap booking materials is super expensive in Malaysia, I hardly touch on scrap booking. I only tired on card-marking & stamping.
I started scrap booking when I brought the "Hei" punch and I forgot to bring it back to Penang/Johor and use it during my wedding preparation. The more I do, the more I love scrap booking rather the card making.
This is my first try. I didn't know to put a title nor write description of the photo. I didn't went for any scrapbook class and just playing around with my existing supplies to create this layout. I just did it base on what I like and hope it should be.
The part that I love the most of this page its the combination of the "Hei" word and the paper flowers.
Materials used: Paper: Webster Page, Cosmo Cricket. Stamp. Mulberry Flowers. Satin Flowers. Stamp: G-Studio, Fiskar.

Trying new design + PIPIT Wonderful Market 4
After all the long holiday and rest, I manage to get myself on the sewing machine and try some new design.
First was this dawstring pouch. Initially I wasn't doing this but it looks good after the mix and match of the bright pink polka dots with lace combain with this pink kawaii fabrics. I have sew even 2 small dots to cover the knot of the string that adds more cuteness on the drawstring pouch. I can just sit there and admire on the pouch. I feel sucessful and great to see the outcome. That the wonder and joy on crafting. I sew 2 more in a similar design just with different fabrics. You can see all of them on my shop.

Tried this tissue pouch and it turn out to be cute. Will be sewing more different fabric for the upcoming PIPIT event.

I will be joining this craft event at 15 May 2010 (Saturday) at Annexe Gallery. I will be joining booth with Chiwawa Family. Just drop a comment and let me know any new items you would like to see on that day. It's time to push myself to be more hard working in sewing before my cabinet brust out on too much fabrics... Haha ~!

For Charity
Last week, Dan Dan requested some donation of handmade stuff for charity at here for the New Era Collage Carnival. I find and search and find and found these that I could donate for her to sell at the carnival.
I do not have too much time to do new stuff, but I gather some of my existing item for her to sell.
Handphone accesories, hair tie, handphone pouch from my shop.
This cards I made using my handstamp brooch. You can sent the card to your love ones and later use the brooch to pin on your bag, clothes or even hat.
Here are the total items that I have sent off. Hope it really helps on selling and she will be donating the total amount earn to the collage.

Crafting times
Here are some of my crafts that I did recently.
Created some Valentine bracelet from this heart shape locket that I got several months ago. You can put your lover's picture and your picture on the locket. Isn't it wonderful?

I am a charm person and I enjoy put most of my charms to form a bracelet.

A custom made bookmark for my customer and a new shoot using my new camera. All these picture were taken by my new camera and I must say I love my camera.

A custom order of sakura pencil case, this time I tried stitching names on the pouch. But I notice it doesn't look too well in dark background. Maybe it will be looking good in light color fabrics.
She requested a small pocket inside the pouch. The color is matches well with the polka dots inner fabric. Hope she will like it~!
A small zipper pouch for a custom order. I think this size matches well for putting my cellphone.
You can see more over my shop.

Christmas card 2009 #2
Rush, rush, rush...
Finally there are out for mailing last Tuesday.
I understand that it might not reach US on time. But at least I sent them all out.
The above was the initial snowman card that I made, I felt something is still missing until I added a piece of gold card on top of it and it looks more pretty now.

One of my favorite card of this year. I love the small card on the envelop. The red background of the card I make from recycle paper and and it looks great. My friend told me it looks more like a Chinese new year card. What do you think??
More cards~

I made the card below after I finish all my Christmas Card, does the stacking of elephant looks cute to you?

Merci + Lace Stamp

I been collecting them from time to time. Maybe because I can't carve as detail as these.
The small match box stamps are one of my favorite stamps now. The stamps are carved in full detail and very small. I use the "Merci" (Thank you in French) rabbit stamp + lace stamp and stamp them in a small piece of "Thank you" card for my customer who have brought things from me. It makes a smile of my face and hope it brings my customers too :)

Hello London, Forrest Kawaii pouch
Gosh~ It seems to be a long time that I didn't sew. Was side track on other crafts which keep myself busy and doesn't have much time on sewing. Was busy on the housing hunting and purchasing process that keeps us rush here and there to find a best home that we like.
This was a fabric that I buy some time ago, one of my favorite. It is in bright blue color covered with red uniform queens guard marching and playing music for the upcoming festival. Each of them have it's own instruments. The fabric itself is so cute as if they are stories just by viewing the farbic.
I have added a Paris Tower charm on the zip....
Sew on the linen fabric label that I got several months ago. It match perfectly with the theme of this pouch.

I think this small pocket inside the pouch is so cute. You can store your small stuff, such as lipstick or lip blum.
Another zipper pouch that I have sew. The fabric consist of animals such as rabbit, horse, mouse, bears dress up for a carnival parade inside the forest. I have added a polka dot ribbon on the bottom left of the pouch. Giving out this pouch to someone you love and care as represent on the bear hugging your heart.
I really made it with love on all my crafts and I can spend time just admiring them.
Well I need to

Cute crocodile
Some of my friend ask me, why you didn't use those things that you have made? I said, got are... this handphone string is something that I assemble myself, not to say I made the charm my self. The pink crocodile charms is one of my favorite charm now... I got hooked on it the first time I saw him.
Now my mobile charm looks too crowded, but yet I still love the sound and the charms lying around. I have now hook my handmade fruit tarts on my handphone. I know it looks abit crowded, but I like the 2 bells sounds. Now my crocodile have a big fruit tart to enjoy on its own... Haha...

Christmas card #1 2009
Sorry for the lack of updates... my camera isn't working quite well recently.
Christmas mood start wondering in town. I see shops are start decorating with christmas ornements and decorations. I started creating these christmas card earlier. Need to post them to overseas for friend and family or anyone want to adopt them can email me at ciyouong@yahoo.com.
This year, I didn't really buy much materials to do my christmas cards. I would like to see how is my creativity this year with limited materials to create cards that I like. Most of the materials are those exsisting ones that I have plus some newly brought ones.
I love the pink button snowflakes. They match pretty well on the cards. Christmas is all in themes of red and green. I try my very best to make sure it looks match and nice.
A greeny version of chirstmas card. I think I need to stock up for christmas wording or start carving some more wordings for my christmas card collection.

Blue Garden Bracelet
So busy at work this week.
Sudden work load in office become too much. Due to the internet connection at the office is too slow, it so slow to upload new updated website online.
Just launched a newly design financial website. Some file are missing due to the bad internet connection. Now in the process of patching them up.
I haven't have time to update my shop yet. I have made some hair pins and I have try to make this bracelet using the lampwork beads that I brought recently. It turn up to be so beautiful. I called it "Blue Garden" because the there is roses in the lampwork beads, butterfly, flowers surronding them. I was doing for myself, but it seems to be too big for me. I have a small wrist by the way.
