幸福女人 ~ Hubby cook

We started cooking after moving to our new house.
Why?
We need to drive out to buy food instate of walking 5 minutes to buy a meal.
A bit waste as we have spend thousand Ringgit on furnish our kitchen and not using it.

Yesterday TS is not working and he prepare our dinner. Although there are not looking well in pictures, but definitely there taste good.

工作回家后,还有亲爱的老公亲自准备的晚餐~~ 感觉好幸福!

Happy New Year 2011

Neglected my blog for a long long time.
Not to say I forget, just that I was too busy with my current life.

2010 was the busiest year that I have ever been.
So much thing change, life changes from one stage to another.

Here is some recap on year 2010
1. Longest - 17 days, self planned trip with TS to Taiwan.
2. Change Job although it is still IT related, but different roles of job, new challenge.
3. ROM at July 2010. From girlfriend 6.0 upgrade to wife 1.0.
4. Planning, designing, monitor renovation and move to our new house at Kota Kemuning
5. At last, wedding ceremony in Chinese culture. Which includes tea ceremony and wedding lunch.
6. Start picking up driving as I need to drive to work daily.

Well, spending money is like spending water this year. So much to spend on the trip, wedding and the house.

I think now I have more time to blog / rest / and continue crafting soon.

Working non stop

I have started my new job at last Monday.
It was a totally different environment, lifestyle and working style to me.
Now I understand why they are so busy.

At the second day, they start assigning me to a project and start to ask me to work around on it.
I was pretty lost as I do not have any experience in my new job.
Have to digest tons of documents and data.
Time flies very fast working there.

After getting home from work,I was exhausted and just when to bed....
I only manage to surf the internet, check my mails at the weekends

What a busy week~!

Later I'm going off to buy some lights and furniture hunting for my new house.

Monopoly

A lazy Sunday evening
walking into a coffee shop
TS order a cup of coffee and I order a slice of cake

Saw a box of Monopoly on the coffee shop and started playing them.
It was way too long the last game
I almost forget all the rules and regulation
I miss those old days I played with my brother's and sister's back at Penang.
It was once our favorite game when we were young.
Spending some time reading the rules and regulation and we started to play.... We shouted and laugh with joy if we earn money and become sad if we loss money.

I think the rest of the people of the coffee shop thinks we are crazy.

One thing funny of this game is this TS keep on stepping my land (Pentonville Road $8) every round he passed by....

TS manage to build houses in the most expensive piece of land~ I kena 1 time which cost the rental for $200!
Too bad I wasn't in luck of building any house.

It's time to change

After a lot of consideration.
I made my decision.
I choose to get out from my comfort zone.
And to get a better offer.

The new job will be more challenging as I do not have any experience.
It is not as flexible if compare with what I am doing now.
No more blogging, personal research at office time.
No more Facebook nor Msn chatting.
I am prepared to work long hours
And lesser time for my hobby.

If I do not try to change now, I don't think I have the guts to change when I'm getting more old...

My ROM

3rd July 2010 is a memorable day of my life.

It is the day will begin a new chapter of our life, as we are now husband and wife.

Some beautiful pictures capture by my friend hubby - All about love photography. Special thanks for both our parents and family members that attend the ceremony. Thank you for my house mate whom help me to stick the fake eye lashes (still fail to stick them myself) and her sister which help on my hair setting on that day.

Our ROM ceremony was held at Thean Hou Temple. Not regretting on buying the pink Cheongsam (旗袍) for the day. It looks lovely and matching with the temple scenes.

There are more picture that I need to filter before I put them up.

Now I'm waiting for my shooting on my pre-wedding pictures this coming October.

If you do not know what is ROM?
ROM = Registration of Marriage

Our New Home

Got the keys of our new home on April 2010 after we came back from Taiwan. Hooray!~
I was super excited and started to read thru forums and website for my new home design and layout.

The renovation fees are just a bomb to us.

A double story landed house, full renovation + design will cost RM80K-RM120K. How could I afford that? We do not have much left after the down payment of the house.
So we decide to keep the renovation to be the most basic ones, such as kitchen cabinets, masteroom cabinets, windows grills, lights and lamps, fan, air con ...

Will be adding more and more from time to time.

I'm still thinking what style and concept for my new house.

There is so much hidden cost in buying a house. Even the transfer name of TNB (electrical) cost us RM800.

Although we are spending and spending much of our hard earn money, but it's worth to have a home of our own, a place to rest.

Something more exciting that I will have a work room aka craft room~!

I-City, Shah Alam

We was driving home from our new house and spotted this place called I-City along Federal highway. I-City is the latest MSC Malaysia Cybercentre Zone @ Shah Alam, Selangor. Too bad we didn't carry my camera stand along with us. Good part was the parking is FREE.

We manage to snap some nice picture I-City.
Does this picture like we are having winter at Malaysia? The scene looks like winter but it is actually very warm even it is on at night.

Ice-world at I-City. Everything in white LED lights.
Star shaped LED lights ~
Blue crystal balls ~
Penguins at the snow
Chinese New Year Theme lights and decorations. Picture are more yellowish as lights are in yellow color.
The huge Christmas Trees are build from pieces of snowflakes LED lights. I think they hang up the red lanterns during Chinese New Year.
Those LED Trees was bright and standing out on the night.

Detail shot of the LED trees
Lots of pine trees decorated with lights at the park.

Short Trip back to Penang

My brother was back from UK on someday mid March and our dad ask us to get back for a small gathering over the weekend.

He brought back alot of chocolates ~ yummy ones. One of my favorite is these Ferrero Dark Chocolates. And some dark chocolate Kit Kat too. Our family is a great fan of chocolates.

When to the market and saw some of our childhood snacks. My sister brought and gave my brother some. Which he will never find these at UK. The price shoot up high compare to those days when we were young.

Steamboat is our tradition dish on Chinese New Year. My brother couldn't make it back for this year Chinese New Year. So we gather and prepare one for him.

No photo's on my family~ why? Warn buy my sister not to put "ugly" un-edit pictures up online. Haha.

Here are some pictures on my dogs at home. It is so hard to capture a still picture of Browny.
Too much flash ~~
Lucky looks great on pictures ~!

Spotted a cute white puppy beside my friends house ~

Mum's garden

I know my Taiwan Trip is getting more and more boring.
But it is very useful for those who are planning to visit Taiwan in future.

Today I shall blogged some shooting I took back at Penang. ~ My mums Garden
She love planting them at the house compound. She is proud of her garden. Some plants become enormous big. The 'Kertas Bunga' plant is now even taller then me.

Some colorful and different types of flowers ~ Don't ask me, I do not know their name.

Kek Lok Si Visit at CNY

I'm back from Taiwan~ It was fun, exciting, beautiful, cold... And I am currently broke after spending alot there.

I was busy unload, unpack all my things from my luaggage and starting to arrange some of my photos from my trip. Hopefully I can start blogging them soon.

Meanwhile, do enjoy these picture from Kek Lok Si, Penang during Chinese New Year. I been waiting these pictures from my brother until he upload up. We went there at the first night of the Chinese New Year and it is terriblely crowded with peoples. Light and latterns are all over the temple and it is so beautiful.

The newly completed 观音亭 (Goddess of Mercy Pavilion) does attract alot of people to visit. Now Kek Lok Si Temple looks so small beside the Goddess of Mercy Pavilion. I enjoy my Chinese New Year gathering with family and friends this year.

Busy week

I am so tired and exhausted. I do not have too much to blog, to rest or even time to play my facebook games.

I loaded some of my kawaii fabrics that I had a hard time to decide to sell them. I love those fabric, but it seems that I do not have much time to use them. So I decided to share them out to those handcrafters that love them. You can get them at here.
I spoted some vintage brass necklace that are pretty lovely and I grab some and put them on my shop. Plus there are on a much cheaper price then the previous collection.

This 2 items had make me madness busy this few days. I need to check my email for orders and reply them, add them on the reserved list (as items are limited) and ask for payment and bla bla bla. Every night I need to spend hours and hours on packing itself. The moment I stop packing it was almost 12 midnight.
I'll be going to a long vacation to Taiwan this coming March, yet I have comfirm my schedule and booking on the hotel room and transportation. These few days are just searching and searching for more details on accomodation and a cheaper price in transportation.
After 2 body check up, I still can't solve my body issue. I sometimes started to get more worry after hearding more cases that my friend share around. Maybe will visit the chinese doctor to solve those problems.
I wish to rest and sleep more. I remember 1 day after work, I sraight when to bed and sleep until 10pm, then woke up because I was too hungry. I didn;t have my dinner before I whento bed.
Chinese New Year is coming soon. I hope that I can rest more that time ~

New Shoes

I am very particular on the shoes I am wearing.
Remember when I was young, around 16,17, I started loving high heel shoes.
Until I started work, I still wear high heel shoes.
Because I wanted to look higher.
But wearing high heels are very painful for legs and feet.
I need to walk from my house to the train station for 10-15 minutes, squeezing on the train for 20 minutes and walk again.
Sooner I started not wearing high heels any more.
I started to buy flat shoes.
I am more willingly to spend more money to buy a comfortable shoe, rather to buy a sale/cheap shoe that will 'eat' my feet.
I started to wear Crocs and I feel in love with it.
Although they are not stylish, but yet they are so so comfortable.
But sometime I still want to be a bit stylish.
I started to search for other patterns of comfortable shoes.
I stumble upon this shoe called 'Rubi Shoe'. It started when someone is offering a pre-order from Australia for RM45 per pair.
I ordered, but unfortunaly the list was full.
Later I found that "Cotton On" have this shoe and I dash to Pavillion and get this pair.
They are selling 2 pair for RM60 and I just brought 2. One in black and another in silver.
Oh... I love the silver pair. They make my foot very bright.
I thank god that I didn't manage to get on the pre-order list as when I tried the shoe, I need to take 1 size bigger then my usual size (that why I do not like to buy shoe's online)
Rubi Shoes are not as comfortable as Crocs shoes, but they DO NOT eat my foot.
The shoes have only thin base and I think I should add extra padding on the shoe.
But overall, I still like my new shoe!~

Do you have a particular brand of shoe that I like?

Happy New Year 2010

Happy New Year 2010 to everyone.

I was at out station on new year.
I give myself to relax and started to try on my new camera that I brought.
I have plans on my head for this new year, more things to add to my shop or even to open a new website and own my new domain name.

Will be updating my shop on some necklace that I did on the weekends. The above are one of my favorite.

Recycle Envelops

Since I start doing online selling, wrapping up parcel and package is part of my task.
I like orders in Pos Express and I just need to put the item at the envelop and seal it.
But Pos Express has it's limitation as big bulky items such as bags, pouch are not able to fit in to it.

Pos Laju is the best, you can use anything to wrap and they will just accept. I am using those paper bags as envelops to post them using Post Laju. It was actually my friends idea. As my colleagues order Starbucks and Sandwich often, so there is a lot of these paper bags around the office. Throwing them on the bin seems like a waste and it is too soft to use it daily as a shopping bag.

The is the latest parcel I sent using Post Laju. Just put the handle inside and stick the edges with tapes and it is ready for postal.
Here are some paper bags that I collect. Any brown color paper bags can be use for either Register Post or Post Laju. So I have a bunch of these paper bags at my kitchen.
For me, using a brand new envelop to wrap parcel, when the parcel reach the receiver, it will be very crumble up as well. Why not using these paper bags and post your parcel in further. It's environment friendly. Do you care what envelops your sender use to sent to you?

House Hunting

TS suddenly feel that he wanted to buy a new house before the year ends.
I was not ready at first, not ready to make commitment toward the house loan.
But after some thought, rather then paying rent, might wise just buy a home to stay.
In addition, I have brought alot of deco items from Bangkok, but my current house has no place to put nor not suitable to put.

Started house hunting thru the internet, book some appointment for house viewing.
This continue for several weeks, sometimes the whole saturday we went for 4-5 places to view house. We started to find around setapak, but the housing price is too pricy. A brand new 1300sqt condo in setapak will cost RM350K++ and a second hand condo will cost at least RM300K++. Something not good about condo is every month we need to pay maintaince fee.

We look into double storey houses, but setapak area is more then RM500K++. We went futher, to puchong, usj, kota kemuning and putra heights.

Both of us love Kota Kemuning houses, you can have a look here and here. But its abit over our budget and it is quite far from town and located at Shah Alam. It's RM400k++ for a brand new unit. I hate those investers. They buy when the house is launch and sell it 2 years later after the house is completed in a higher price. That's why those people that really want to buy house to stay cannot find a new house because of these people. Another thing that keep bordering me are those legal and lawyer fee that will cost RM20K extra because our new goverment new law ~~ hate it.

Argh....... Still looking and searching.....

Addicted to Farm Ville @ Facebook

I been not blogging for a while, yes busying on my shop, busy on work and addicted on Farm Ville at Facebook.

I am used to play online yahoo games once in a blue moon. I'm not the type of addictive player.
I do play sim city when I was at collage but stop after my laptop are not too compatible on it.

I didn't login to facebook as much as a daily basis.
I was just thinking facebook was another friendster thing.
It seems like the world is all going thru facebook and sometimes I felt left out on some comments, application or games that my friends are discussing about.

Until a few months ago, I notice TS started to play this game, which the sounds interesting to me, I started then after a few weeks seeing him playing and who knows... I was addicted!

The virus spread to my other housemate and 3 of us started to play.... we invited his brother who stay with us to play, but he refuse, but eventually he started playing secretly at home too.

Now some time when we are at home, here is some of our converstion:
TS: "Hei, I'm going to give out a cow, quickly go and take..."
ME: "OKOK.... wait I login first... you wait...."

TS: "My tomatos die liao.... aiyo... I forgot to harvest them"
(he slept after he bath and forget to harvest them)
ME: "I help you harvest liao la... See... I so good"
(he forget to logout before he slept, thats why I saw and help him)

TS: "See I got pink cow....."
ME: "Eh... where?? Why I do not have? Where to get.....where......"

Here are some views on my farm:

Duckling around the pond.... poor ugly ducking is left out.

You can decorate a path on your farm... I like them when the tree is ready for harvest.
from 99% to fully harvest... I like seeing them changing....

Some of my friends farm.....
This is very beautiful... you can see so much fruits and plants that grows....

A bunch of trees ~~ looks like forest to me (laugh)
Are you addicted too??

中秋节快乐 Happy Mooncake Festival

今天中午,突然在电台听这首《月亮圆》,让我好怀恋哦。听了这么久,每年中秋都会想起这首歌,真的是白听不厌。
This afternoon, I heard this song from the radio, missed this song a lot. It's a song that I always remember when mooncake festival is around.

几乎忘了中秋节。。。
没什么庆祝,今年也忙得忘记买月饼吃。。。
Almost forget today is mooncake festival....
Didn't celebrate it. I was too busy that I forget to buy myself mooncake to eat. Need to wait until next year.

但无论如何,还是祝大家中秋节快乐!
But I still wish everyone Happy Mooncake Festival.

Busy and stressful

4 days holiday was great. Just sleeping and watching movie at a quiet kampung at TS hometown.

After the 4 days holiday, everything become busy. Too much holidays will ended up alot of work load been stack up. After the holiday... every moment at work was working and rushing... the clients are so uncertain on what they need and keep on changing the design. The same task I have change numerous time, in different format and different design.

Worried on my teeth, I am so scared that the next day I woke up, I will have a swollen cheek again. I haven't go back for an appointment because they are still close for Raya break. Worried that something will happen at the 4 days of my trip... Argh.....

Didn't have too much time to plan on my coming sudden trip to Bangkok. No internet access at TS hometown. I have to search some of them when I have a tiny break on my work.

So much housework to do and I am so tired when I reach home.

No time even to watch my daily drama movie... I missed so much episode.

Can't find my plug converter and things for travel.... where on the earth I have put them at???

2 days I forgotten to apply my moisturizer before coming out too work (which I usually won't forget). Feeling my face so oily and just not protected.

The most less stressful was the train wasn't that crowded... I guess still many of them are still in holidays.

Sorry for the nagging on this post, hope everything will be back to normal and less stressful after the trip back from Bangkok....

Swollen Cheek

I had the worst weekend ever.
It started with a toothache and later my gum started pain.
The next day my cheek start to get swollen.
I can't chew or eat. All I can is just swallow porridge, drinking fluid such as milo, or herbal drink.
My friend told me it might be cause due to heaty.
But I think its because of my teeth.
It was an old hole that was repaired 2 years back, I think it start to fell over.
There was no dentist at Sunday. Why dentist does not open at Sunday?
It was worst at night. I can't sleep and have to eat pain killer to ease the pain.
Hate it.
Finally I went to the dentist at monday morning. The dentist claim that the bacterias have enter my gum and cause the swelling. He remove the old repair teeth and told me to take some antibotic.
The antibotic really help and reduce the pain.
I try not to take too much pain killer as I know it's bad for my body.
This morning was better. The swelling reduce abit and I can start chewing...

Will need to go back to the dentist to either pull of my teeth or do a Root Canal Treatment . Sometimes I just think of just pulling the tooth will makes lesser problems, but my teeth will disappear forever... what shall I do??
