Chirstmas Card from Handcarve stamps

Long time didn't write for me and TS sponsor child. So I grab my pen and wrote a letter. In additional I have made these 2 card from the christmas handcarve stamps that I carve lately.

With just lack of stamps(because I didn't have any christmas theme stamps) and lack of pattern paper. I just decided to see how I can make something from just this few carve stamps that I have. Just too lazy to carve more Chirstmas stamps at that time. Here there are. The last red and green color paper I have. The red paper I already use up all to do red packets. The green background I hand stamp myself using versa mark inks, and I find it useful for creating background. The tree and the dear is gold embossed. I have added some craft punch snow flake with some glitter on the middle to the card too. Plus some ribbons and trim just to add some spice. "Merry Christmas" words are done using popcorn pens. Hope my child will like them.

I think I will made some Christmas card for sale this year. Anyone wants to buy, just drop me a message.

Donate to China earthquake victims!

TS told me that an earthquake have happen at China. I don't read newspaper and I couldn't feel how he felt after reading thru the newspaper. Some parents risk their life just to save their child. I was in tears when I heard him describe. He wanted to do some donation for this incident. But just don't know where to donate. I think alot people want to donate, but don't know where to donate.

I search online and found that several society and organisation like world vision, sinchew can walk in for donation. But we could not find a fax machine to fax it thru there. Today I saw at PC Fair at KLCC convension center we can walk in and donate. So any one work near by can drop in and donate. PC ends tomorow.

For those that couldn't make it, can go to this link: 爱心行动 刻不容缓 to see any place near by you to donate. MSN is just a good way to spread news. By adding a rainbow (R) in front of your msn name, they will donate $0.20 RMB to the victims. Just so easy. Anyone that have an MSN should do that.

Will go tomorow to help TS to donate.

Chinese New Year Present for TS child

From my previous post, I have posted we adopt 2 children from World Vision. Mine is from Mongolia and Ts is from China. I have sent my kid a christmas card during christmas, but not for TS child. So he keep on bugging me, when I am going to send his child a present? Aiya~ that is your child, why am I the one that is writting to your child? I seems like a secretary to TS.

He ask me to sent her color pensel's, as my house still have a brand new 12 color pensels, but she is only 4 years old, I think crayon will be more suitable for her.

After some shopping, finally got this Hello Kitty coloring book for her. The hello kitty seems like very big and more suitable for crayon coloring. As she looks very tomboy on her picture, TS wish her to be a bit girlish. So here we go, the Hello Kitty coloring book is sent to her as an "Ang Pow" to her. We are prohibited to sent cash to the sponsor child. I hope she will be please. Adding one more Chinese New Year card to her.

Postage was quite expensive. RM10++ for postage and register post. But this is safer as there are some case that those gifts got lost.

Here is the letter her neighbour wrote on behalf of her as she is too young to write:

Here is how the letter sound like this (for chinese, just read from the image):

Dear sponsor,
Hi, Ying Chun recieved your letter, picture and gifts. Her family was excited, Ying Chun was extremely glad, innocently asking her mum, when she can meet TS and his family. Her mum told her: study hard and wait until you grown up,you can go and meet TS.
Ying Chun starts kindergarden. She is an obedient child. Got your support and guidance, she will grow up happly and healthy. Yin Chun heard that you request her to draw her family photo, she was happy and didn't allow anyone to help, and began to be busy drawing the whole night. Her discuss with her family, see got opportunity will snap a photo for you.

Sponsor a child 2007 annual report

So glad to receive our sponsor children annual report.

Here is my babay girl. Isn't she cute? Just feel extreemly happy when I got their letter and picture. My baby have small green hands. Is she a monster??

This is TS child, when he saw her, he directly say: "Why she looks more towards a boy rather a girl??" Haha. TS choose her because she is special, looks like a guy.
Wondering how we will feel when they all know how to write and start writting to us??? Now still World Vision Staff or the children mums will write for us.

World Vision Sponsor a Child

End of last year, I have sponsor a Mongolia child from World Vision at my wretch blog. That time is just out of curious and fun to sponsor that child. Now I have a camera phone and her is how she look likes:

My baby girl ~ from Mongolia

TS girl ~ from He Bei, China

We recieve a background profile from them, some brochures, booklets, calenders.

Slowly the heat when off and I gratuately forgotten her until I recieve her annual report [I forgotten to snap a photo of it :p]. Then I decided to write to her.

TS girl I also need to write to her. So I need to prepare things in 2. I wrote my girl a letter few months back, but haven't posted it yet. So I just grab that letter and write another letter in Chinese to TS kid in China. I prepare the photos that I have printed and stick them on harded card boards. I find some small cute colorful hair pins and self make some pearls bracelet for them. Lastly wrote the address and put everything on the envelop. Hope they love the small gifts I gave them.

When to the post office today for posting. Postage is RM1.30 per letter. Don't know when it will arrive at my kids hand. I guess 2-3 weeks to the World Vision head office, then mine somemore need to translate to Mongolia language. And then need 3-4 weeks to sent to the actual location. The earlist I think will be 2-3 months.
Hope my letter won't get lost.

Next time plan to send them Malaysian postcards too.
