I-City, Shah Alam

We was driving home from our new house and spotted this place called I-City along Federal highway. I-City is the latest MSC Malaysia Cybercentre Zone @ Shah Alam, Selangor. Too bad we didn't carry my camera stand along with us. Good part was the parking is FREE.

We manage to snap some nice picture I-City.

Does this picture like we are having winter at Malaysia? The scene looks like winter but it is actually very warm even it is on at night.

Chinese New Year Theme lights and decorations. Picture are more yellowish as lights are in yellow color.

The huge Christmas Trees are build from pieces of snowflakes LED lights. I think they hang up the red lanterns during Chinese New Year.

Photography on crafts

This is the 1st craft item that I took with my brand new camera. It was a custom made item for a customer and I couldn't wait until the morning to take pictures of it. So I took it at night, auto mode without flash and it looks very sharp on the charms and a slight blur background.

I kinda like more and more on my new camera.

My new camera

Finally brought my wish list DSLR -Canon 450D. Reason: my compact camera totally cannot open at all. So no choice have to get one new.

I got it at Lowyat Plaza for RM2200 including the camera kit, user guide book, tripod and a canon bag (too big for me). Add on RM20 for screen protector and RM50 for the filter.

This is the lowest price I can get from Lowyat, it is at ground floor promotion area section.

I got this because it was on my budget. The price drop a lot as they have a new model 500d which is around RM3000.

Now I only know how to use the auto mode, still more to learn using the manual mode.

Metrojaya Cosmetics & Fragrances Sales

We knew this Metrojaya Cosmetics & Fragrances Sales last minute. It was 12 noon, so we headed to The Weld. It is just behind of my office. I didn't know that The Weld is actually a shopping centre. Saw more variety of food to eat during lunch time.

I was aiming for pink color blusher on the way to the sales. I did got my blusher. Plus several things more.

Nail Removal - RM2

Bloop eye brown color -2 for RM9.90 (np: 1 for RM18).

Plus got this 2 fragrances (surprisingly I still can smell with my blocked nose~)

Issey Miyaki EDT limited edition reflections in a drop 50ml -RM100. Finally brought Issey Miyaki fragrance, I can remove it from my wish list~ horray! This is definately a hot item. The first time I reach around 12.15pm, it was about 3/4 box full of Issey fragrance. I was deciding to buy or not the first time. The second time I reach that counter(when I decide to buy), it is half box full only. The 3rd round I go to the counter, it only have 1/4 bottles left...

Marc Jacobs Blush intense EDP 50ml -RM5o. This is so cheap, I grab this without thinking twice. A friend gave me the miniture of this perfume some day ago. I love it but wasn't wanting to pay RM200 for this over the counter.

A new Palodroid software I found online - they finally release the Windows OS version. Before that was only for Mac. See the before picture (below) and after picture (above). Love the vintage looks of the pictures~~

New office

Moved to this brand new office at Somerset, Jalan Raja Chulan. It's an service apartment, but downstairs there are 4 floors of office lots.
Here is the view on the new office. I'm wondering why there is no leafs on the tree? Malaysia doesn't have autumn but this tree looks like those autumn trees where all the leafs where gone.
Still a total mess on the office. The office is a duplex unit. It consist 2 levels in one unit. We are taking the upper space and the ground is another office. The stairs are in circular motion to the top level. Looks cool. But need to be extreemly careful when we are wearing skirts.
The office theme is in black or white. Most of the furniture are in black. I find this lamp is so beautiful. Plain, simple and vintage. And the owner install for us free of charge.

But it is painful to go to work as I need to switch trains and walk more to reach this new office.

Orange Sky

I love the sky today. It was rainning at 6pm and this was a shot taken on 7pm. The sun is going down leaving the sky to be orange and darken down.

Leafs

Trying lomo again while waiting for TS yesterday at the KLCC Park.

None of the park or the tower pictures look good - except one. Only the leafs look good.
I don't know how I manage to get this shot. But I like the darker color of the leafs with the bright blue sky.

This you can see the greeny leafs rather then dark color leafs on the 1st picture.

The water and the plants around the park. It's around 6pm at the evening and its a good spot to just walk around and breath some fresh air from the woods inside the contrite jungle.
Mandarin Oriental Hotel looks like a huge building on this angle. Love the zakka color of the building, or is it from my lomo camera?

Going back to Penang later this afternoon. I have a good high school friend that is going to get marries tomorow. We as friends will hop by on the morning to become her "sisters" 姐妹 to make fun of the bride. Afternoon to the church (I think I won't be going to the church) and at night will be her wedding dinner.

Hope everything runs smoothly and well.

My Condo

Some snap shot with lomo camera again. This time is where I stay. I stay on a 18 storey condominum. Management of the condominum is very bad. The paint has faded but they didn't re-paint them and making it so old. I like those flat in Singapore. They re-paint the building once every 5 years. But not ay my country.

A playground for kids to play. Some students hang around there too.

Swimming pool that I never been swam before. My place is a "student" condo. Its near the college and alot students will be swiming at there.

A view at the 17th floor of the condo. From here we can see the KLCC and the shops and houses down there. See how rusty the corridor metal is. Somewhere not in my condo, but else where. But I love the blue sky.

Sunny day

It almost rains everyday. Starting from lunch time, around 12 noon and it stops. The continue raining around 5pm, when people starting to pack their bags and go home. Massive jamming at the train station this few days. I been squeezing alot inside the sardin fish train.

Yesterday was a good day. No raining at lunch time. Either at 5pm. Only raining abit at around 2pm. Snap this few lomo pictures on the way to buy my food at lunch time.

KL Tower is so near my office. Actually it is like 30 minutes walk to reach there. ShangriLa Hotel is near by too.

Bottles of Japanese wine(I guess) at the fountain pool infront of the Japanese restoran. I never went to eat before. The price is quite high. But lunch time, I can see still alot people inside the restoran.

Lomo with Minimo

I love colors. Lomography just suits my color desire. Strong contrast on color combination is just what I want.

Picture are capture using this mini keychain camera. It stores picture using SD card. Operate using 1 AAA bateri.

Sister Studio Graduation and Family Photo

Almost all my sister friends had their graduation photos at studio. My sister last minute decided to have the graduation photos too. Seen my younger brother will be leaving Malaysia soon. Too bad my another younger brother is not at Malaysia.

She told the package 5 picture for RM188, but ended up choosing 10 picture. Need to add money. That is how the wedding shop earn money.

The whole process of snaping picture took us 1 hour. The last family photo snap was just 10 minutes. The photographer keep on asking us to post here and there and take alot of pictures. Heard my sister say she have a hard time choosing them as all pictures are so beautiful.

Last minute decision from my sister. Thank god I manage to find an old good looking dress and borrow a scaft from my mum.
