New Carve stamp book

Brought this book - 橡皮擦印章趣味繪本創作集 (ISBN:9784529043397) lately. Now is my favorite carve book. Inside includes tons of kawaii, cute stamps. I just love them.

Try up this sakura pattern. I love sakura. It takes me more then an hour to carve this stamps. Not perfect, but I am happy with the result.
Was lucky that I brought some "Power Range" erraser which is 4.6cm x 3.6cm. Fit properly with this stamp that I carve which is 3.7cm x3.6cm. Its so hard to find larger plain errasers in Malaysia.

Bookfest 2008

Just back from the bookfest several hours ago. My office is quite near to the klcc convention center. So I went there after my working hours.

I was expexting little crowd today as it is a normal working day, but I guess this week is school holiday. I could see alot of parents taking their kids, teenager around.

Bookfest per entry is RM2, you will get a booklet of catalog and the entry pass wrist band. This catalog was available for sale at any popular bookstore and I kinda flip thru tis booklet before. I was interested in 1 felt book that was extreemly cheap.


When entering, the crowd wasn't that bad. The 1st section - Hall 5 was those english books, including english kids books, novel, story book, fiction.... As I walk towards the Hall 1, continue with Malay book and started stationary. At the stationary section I spend quite some time as I found what I wanted, which is the Artline T-shirt Marker pen - black color, that was out of stock at kinokunoya.


The Artline T-shirt Marker was RM3.60, Kino selling RM4.50. I brought 2 colors - pink and black. The lady told me because the fair they are selling that cheap. The yellow pen is Artline Multipurpose Pen -RM2.30 each. Able to draw anywhere you want, from fabric, wood, paper...etc. Later I was attracted by the Pentel Pafutte tape deco. RM4 (np RM8++) I brought a love one and the duck one. The butterfly and the leaf one was cute, but all sold out. Some strawberry accesories on the most left.

Was side track again in the food section and got some tibits and candy.


Chinese books are divided into China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. I was stuck on the Taiwan section as I see they offer alot cheap and lovely craft book. Brought some sewing books. On the left was a sewing book for baby, i just love the soft color picture and cute character, so I brought it and thinking maybe next time I could use it. This book on the left was 超人氣發燒貨！創意生活動手做 (ISBN：9789866673146) . On the right is a sewing book on bags 讓你愛不釋手的手作布包 (ISBN：9867167260)

I always wanted felt craft books, just sometimes I find felt is quite expensive in Malaysia and the books are quite costly sometimes. Was addicted to kawaii food and foodie stuff recently. All are craft books except this is a travelling book to Cambodia, as I'm going to Cambodia this September.


Total 7 books for RM168.35. (Not including food and stationary). Quite worth it. I seldom buy so many books at 1 shot. I have some books that I love, just that I'm controling myself on buying them. Thinking on going another day for a second look on what are the books that I missed.

Book Lovers

Bought several book last month and this month. I just love zakka and craft book and magazine alot. I try to buy those chinese book (I can read chinese). Chinese craft books are much more cheap compare to English craft books or Japanese Title books. But sometimes no choice still need to buy those Japanese books. I can't wait until they get translated.

I'm now into sewing, stamping and clay. That why I brought these few books.

I love this book because her crave stamping are those Japanese zakka type patterns. Easy to follow description. Tons of pattern to choose from. I tried several small patterns from it. Searching bigger rubber pad so I can crave bigger patterns.

Stamping love

My new book that I brought last month, called 橡皮章生活雜貨 ISBN：9867039025 , Japanese book translated to Chinese. There is alot of cute stamping inside, different from another stamping book. Here in Malaysia have so less stamping pattern and those stamping pattern is so expensive. So I decided to carve myself.

Because it was just an initial try, so I buy those cheap errasers. I can't find those errasers that the book recommend. Those big big piece of errasers.

That why my carving got those green area on top.

Here is my carving stamps that I did for the past few days. The "Joy Word inside the Apple" and the "Love " STamps are I carve them simply. Base on what I like. The others are from the book. I love the apple the most. The present I have used them on my craft swap- FAA lucky parcel: spring time. I would want to buy more stamp ink color and those stamp ink for fabric. But the only place I can get its at 1-Utama. Anyone else know where can I get these stamp inks at KL??

Visiting Kinokuniya

Long time didn't visit Kinokuniya. Long time didn't read crafts books. Seems like slowly forget the passion of crafts. Forget my dreams, those things I really want to do if I have time and money. Going there is to charge my enengry again and keep on remembering back I have something in mind I need to do.

Long time didn't visit 博客來網路書店 too.

Saw alot of books I love there. How I wish i could tailor made my own bags. Own unique cloth bags like those in Japanese crafts. But I need to by my sewing machine first. :(

台湾和日本电子杂志

最近决定不要再买杂志了，我家的杂志多到太多了。时装杂志会很快过时的。除非是那些美容，或者是手工杂志 ~ 但最好是不要买啦~ 一本杂志价钱从RM7-RM50。尤其是那些日本进口的杂志。价钱可吓死人。

看了一些网购的论坛，都在介绍VIVI日本杂志,都拿它介绍的东西来卖，好像是带动流行品~
有好多不同的杂志，比如我常常看的with, minna,都有得下载，不会很明，但不用钱买咯~~。 还有VIVI, <<女人我最大>>, 瑞丽,ELLE, MISS , MILK... 但日本杂志是日文，没中文的版本。：（

我下载七月的VIVI日本杂志， 好大本，总共400多页，难怪kinokuniya卖rm39.00. 太多东西看了。

Sock plush 袜子娃娃

Brought this book at Friday when I was at the Book Fest 2007 at KLCC convention Center. Think and think and think for quite a long time (at 1st thought it was RM47.10 less 20%), ended up was RM35 - special price for the Book Fest. Like this book because its all color up. But too less step by step tutorial.

End up trying this craft when I was at TS house.
This is my 1st craft ~ A cat (The face seems a bit weird as this is the 1st time i try to sew its face features). I decided to play with this is because it uses lesser time to sew rather then cloth plush. I can do some for my friends are birthday present.


2nd art work that I did. Its a small creature with 1 pair of long ears. This is simple and easy to do. Beginner should try this out.


My sock I brought was those cheap cheap sock that I buy from a low cost shop, RM2 per pair. As per book say that if you go for quality plush, you can go for cheap sock as their material is not comfortable to grab.

My next sew will be a cute pig from the book, but until I find the suitable sock for it. The pigs are dam cute~~

Feel that I'm super interested in cosmetic, beauty skin care section. Its time to come out us it out as a professional liao. Need to use it to earn $$. Must decide.

Bee Products

Recently I was quite actracted with Bee Products, which is Royal Jelly and Bee Pollen.

The most attactive is when I heard a beautition said that it can make a women skin very nice and a balance diet for those people which one healthly life. Wah.... All women wish came true.

One of my friend told me that his sister eat both products, her face will heave rossy chick, skin texture will be better then last time. WAU~~
