One of my favorite card of this year. I love the small card on the envelop. The red background of the card I make from recycle paper and and it looks great. My friend told me it looks more like a Chinese new year card. What do you think??
More cards~

I made the card below after I finish all my Christmas Card, does the stacking of elephant looks cute to you?

Christmas card #1 2009

Sorry for the lack of updates... my camera isn't working quite well recently.
Christmas mood start wondering in town. I see shops are start decorating with christmas ornements and decorations. I started creating these christmas card earlier. Need to post them to overseas for friend and family or anyone want to adopt them can email me at ciyouong@yahoo.com.

This year, I didn't really buy much materials to do my christmas cards. I would like to see how is my creativity this year with limited materials to create cards that I like. Most of the materials are those exsisting ones that I have plus some newly brought ones.

I love the pink button snowflakes. They match pretty well on the cards. Christmas is all in themes of red and green. I try my very best to make sure it looks match and nice.
A greeny version of chirstmas card. I think I need to stock up for christmas wording or start carving some more wordings for my christmas card collection.

Christmas comes well with blue, white and silver color theme. These are from my last year carve stamps + gems + snowflakes...

Which one do you like more??

A day for handmade cards

Some cards that I made recently. Just in a mood on making card rather then sewing. I saw some nice pouchers at the Bookfair but I didn't buy any due to my over spending last month. Card making is just too much to spend on. But I try to keep my spending low and manage to create this few cards.

I love the pink background paper (with black and white shapes). It is actually a wrapping paper. I love this card to most.

Another card that I made from the newly brought forest stamps set. Cute ler....
A simple birthday card... to be kept until someone's birthday come along. Always wanted to do my own birthday cards for friends and family but always so lazy to do them. I think this is the way to do some and keep and post them when its time.

Cards

Its been a long time I didn't crafts. Was busy on my new shop on market new products. Was abit free yesterday and manage to compete this 2 cards.

I use stamps from Hero Arts, and Penny Black and another brand I brought from 1-Utama and I must say Penny Black stamps are so great. They are so cute and detail on all their lines. Beautiful.

Some simple design I made this time, without butterfly this time, but still added the flowers... I love adding them on my cards.

Been to the yoga every once in a week. I feel more healthy as my shoulder are not as tired as before. I will move my target to going to yoga twice a week. For those who want a more heathly life style, try going to yoga classes. It helps.

Bookmark exchange and laptop sleeve

Its been quite a while that I didn't make things with paper. This time I joined NNC bookmark exchange, so I took out my card making things and make these cards.

I was addicted on those flowers and butterfly emblishments recently. Almost all my cards are make from them. The only difference are how I arrange them and different pattern paper I mix and match with it. I added some laces to my card this time. On the right of the image. I tried to make something different. The background of the card was made from scraps of fabrics that I left. The scraps fabrics are too beautiful to be thrown away to the bin. So I keep them and here they are, in a bookmark for the swap.

Actually the swap only needed 2 cards, but i did additional one more for an online friend. She will be getting them soon.

At the weekends, I manage to sew the laptop sleeve a customer. Sorry for the delay anyway

It seems that I have alot ideas on mind, I just to lazy to take all my supplies out and crafting and then keep them when I need to sleep at night. There is no proper place for me to do crafting and I just use the living room. And everytime I start crafting, I will mess up the whole living area. I just wish I have a room in future

Thinking of You

A card that I made last week for a friend at Penang.

Actually I promise to send her my handmade slice cake earings as a birthday gift. She came to visit me on her birthday during chinese new year, and I was bad that I forgotten about it until her boyfriend told me about it. Bad of me.

Thats why I decided to made another card for her. She loves design and craft things like these too. Just that she is to busy with her work and business.
I made this card from another handcarve girl stamps from Ivy - I just love her stamps. The background of the card is actually from a gift paper that I brought it someday ago. Added some lace, ribbon, rick rac, flowers, geams. I later added the red butterfly between and butterfly background and it looks cute. Not that empty I think.

First Card Swap from Yahoo Groups

This is my first card swap that I join at Yahoo groups - Paper crafts for Malaysia and Singapore Chinese. The coordinator Ying, sent us the supplies and we need to made a card from all her supplies. We can add other items, but limited to 3 only.

I made this long time ago. Just that I didn't post it up until my partner received it. Here is what I made. I enjoy coloring the girl and she looks more and more pretty the more I look at here. Background I use embossing clear on "love" stamps. And the pink gems I added to made some spark. I love the pattern paper so much. Both sides are very beautiful and I love the color theme.

Here is what I received from my partner - Payyeek. Same supplies we get, but yet every one have different style and ways to decorate the card.

Clear stamps

These are what I brought from Debbie at her online shop - crafty heart last week. I always wanted to try on some clear stamps and she offers clear stamps for RM5.50 each. A good try on someone like me, just want to try on clear stamps and won't want to spend so much in the initial stage. I try all of the clear stamps and I can admit that some I couldn't carve those at my own. Too detail and fine lines.

The acrylic blocks 3 inch x 3 inch was just RM18. So cheap compare to craft shop selling out side. I bought some flowers too to try on my cards. And she was kind enough to sent me a pack of FREE ribbons. Thanks Debbie

Chirstmas Card from Handcarve stamps

Long time didn't write for me and TS sponsor child. So I grab my pen and wrote a letter. In additional I have made these 2 card from the christmas handcarve stamps that I carve lately.

With just lack of stamps(because I didn't have any christmas theme stamps) and lack of pattern paper. I just decided to see how I can make something from just this few carve stamps that I have. Just too lazy to carve more Chirstmas stamps at that time. Here there are. The last red and green color paper I have. The red paper I already use up all to do red packets. The green background I hand stamp myself using versa mark inks, and I find it useful for creating background. The tree and the dear is gold embossed. I have added some craft punch snow flake with some glitter on the middle to the card too. Plus some ribbons and trim just to add some spice. "Merry Christmas" words are done using popcorn pens. Hope my child will like them.

I think I will made some Christmas card for sale this year. Anyone wants to buy, just drop me a message.
