Elephant ride

I never ride an elephant before. I remember when I was a kid, I was even scared to ride on horses. The elephant ride is 600 Baht per person.

It was quite scary when I step my feet on him. Each elephant have it own master. Each master will have a sharp knife on their hand. TS ask if it is use to control the elephant. He told us not really, it is to control the elephant if he don't do what he have ordered to. Usually walking like this he just sit on him and use his legs to control the elephant.

Suddenly the elephant master jump down from the elephant. Saying want to help us take picture. I was shocked. Thinking what if the elephant suddenly run? Or what if he throw us down. The master walking infront of him, calling his name. And he really listen to his master and walk towards him. It is like when you call your dog, sometimes my dog will ingore me too la~~ HE is so obedient.

There is a small path where the elephant will go down and walk in a small rivers. When he is going down, I felt like falling into the water. Almost half of the elephant is soak in the water. There is this mat salleh, which i think switch seats with the his rider and sit on the elephant. How brave.

There is another video I would like to share with you. A younger elephant in action.
